Who We Are
About Us

Sapphire homes was created in May 2025 from a vision and passion to care for looked after children who require safe and stable homes. We aim to shape the next generation of children within our homely environments where children feel comfortable- allowing them to grow, develop, and reach their full potential. We want to grow Sapphire Homes but never lose sight of our morals, which are honesty, fairness, respect, compassion and loyalty.
Our Aims & Objectives
Safe – We have safeguarding at the forefront of our minds each day to ensure children are secure, comfortable and protected in our homes. We encourage children to take age-appropriate risks and work with them to consider mitigation and contextual risks. Our team are fully trained to understand and embed safeguarding into their practice.
Attentive – We are attentive and curious about our children and ensure their voice is heard. We watch carefully, focusing on their needs and act accordingly to support them with this. We pay attention to detail and respond proactively, alongside building long lasting and trusting relationships. We help children understand themselves and support encourage self-development, providing tools to help them thrive.
Protective – We provide safety and protection for our children while encouraging them to take age-appropriate risks. We recognise contextual risks to children and help them asses and mitigate risks that could cause harm. Every child matters. This is important to us and we help children find belonging and feel loved in their home.
Passionate – We are passionate for safety, care, comfort and we provide homely environments for children to be proud of where they live. This allows them to develop themselves and thrive. We always seek appropriate resources and training to help us adapt our approach to care until we get it right for children.
Homely – We believe children should live in a safe and stable home. We aim to achieve this. We allow children to express their views on where they live to increase comfortability and provide them with space to express challenges and disagreements that they may have. We are lucky to be in their home, so it is important that they have a say in how they live in it.
Inspiring - We always inspire children to achieve their best. We encourage and support them in making positive decisions and outlooks on their future, adopting a mantra of ‘we can do this’. We encourage challenge and new experiences for children to thrive.
Rewarding – Rewarding children and young people in the correct way and context gives them a real sense of joy, achievement and satisfaction. Children learn that they can make the right decisions, and positive actions come with reward. We want to make a positive difference to children’s lives through material rewards, alongside gratification, positive words of encouragement and inspiration. We feel pride and satisfaction in witnessing children thrive, knowing that they are working towards their full potential.
Empathetic – We have empathy for our children which is a key Tennant of PACE. For us, this means we have a real sense of understanding of each other and supporting children to develop and have empathy for others. Sharing feelings, connections, emotions and experiences increases compassion and understanding of others. Empathy is very important to us.
Partnership
Therapeutic Input

Coastal Child and Adult Therapeutic Services provide a range of support for children and adults. We work in partnership with this award-winning service; enabling us to better understand our children and their needs through quality assessments. CCATS are able to provide tailored packages for children with high quality training along side for the team. They offer support through the homes referral process to ensure we fully understand the needs of each child planning on moving into our homes.
